Paolo Pastorino, an artist from Albisola known professionally as Urbantoi, was among the 26 artists honored at the contemporary art competition “inArte Diabolik – Eva Kant, A Perfect Accomplice”, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the iconic Italian comic book Diabolik, created by the Giussani sisters.

The event took place in Milan and was attended by the director of Astorina, the publishing house behind Diabolik, as well as renowned Diabolik cover artist Buffagni.

Following the evaluation of original artworks submitted by more than 150 artists, the competition organizers announced the names of the winners.

The award represents a prestigious recognition for Pastorino, also known as the creator of “Osvaldo”, his distinctive ceramic sculpture installed in Piazza Dante in Albisola.
