The seemingly unstoppable spread of “Cazzimma” is sweeping across much of Northern Italy, showing no signs of slowing down.

From Milan, Brescia, Monza and Bergamo to Genoa and finally Savona, the phenomenon has now reached Albisola Superiore, a town which, together with nearby Albissola Marina, is renowned for its centuries-old ceramic tradition.

A key figure in this artistic adventure is undoubtedly Paolo Pastorino, an artist who first discovered his passion for painting and ceramics as a child in his family’s art ceramics workshop. This early exposure to the world of art laid the foundations for a creative journey that would lead him to pursue increasingly ambitious artistic achievements.

Better known in the art world by his artistic name Urbantoi, Paolo Pastorino has formed a strong creative friendship with the already established artist Cupydo, whose true identity remains a mystery but who is instantly recognizable by his signature yellow balaclava.

Their artistic connection has led to an exciting collaborative project entitled “CAZZIMMA OSVALDO – The White Rabbit’s Hole.”

At the heart of this collaboration are the two artists’ most iconic creations: Cupydo’s provocative CAZZIMMA and Pastorino’s unmistakable OSVALDO.

Cupydo’s CAZZIMMA becomes a distinctive frame — or, for those with a more imaginative perspective, a rabbit hole — surrounding Urbantoi’s Osvaldo, evoking the famous and iconic White Rabbit from Disney’s animated classic Alice in Wonderland.

Luxury, elegance, creativity and passion come together in a single artwork with a bold contemporary Pop Art identity.

Since its official unveiling on October 23 at Pastorino’s art studio, located at Via San Pietro 130 in Albisola Superiore, the piece has already attracted considerable attention from collectors, art enthusiasts and, above all, leading Italian art galleries.

Some galleries were quick to reserve pieces for exhibition in their own spaces, as the two artists revealed through their social media stories.

The CAZZIMMA OSVALDO collection is undoubtedly destined to make its mark on the contemporary art scene, a world constantly searching for fresh ideas and emerging artistic talent.
